My child’s father was hit by a car and hurt badly. His lawyer says he might get a significant amount of money. I'm worried he might spend it all and not save anything for our daughter, as he has done before with an inheritance. Do I have any legal right to make him put money in a savings account he cannot touch? We live in NJ.

If I was hired as an independent contractor in North Carolina and my boss decided to switch me to an employee in the middle of the year, changing rules accordingly to how he feels only regarding me, what can I do? Additionally, the boss continuously changes the guidelines for employment in his company to negatively affect only me, and he installed security cameras to record audio and video when I brought computer issues to his attention. There was no contract when I was initially hired, and he made everyone in the office switch to W2s to make them employees whether they wanted to or not. He also decreased our pay because beforehand we were given quota bonuses as well as paid when the office was closed, but he said since he has to pay our taxes now, we don't get any of that. What can I do about all of this?
