If I was hired as an independent contractor in North Carolina and my boss decided to switch me to an employee in the middle of the year, changing rules accordingly to how he feels only regarding me, what can I do? Additionally, the boss continuously changes the guidelines for employment in his company to negatively affect only me, and he installed security cameras to record audio and video when I brought computer issues to his attention.
