I am the owner of a small business in Delaware. A freelancer accidentally used an edited image of a machine without authorization in our marketing video, which was published on our website and LinkedIn. We received a cease and desist request from the company that owns the image, demanding its immediate removal and confirmation within seven days. We have already started removing the video and plan to replace the image with a royalty-free one. Do we need to respond to the company, and if so, what should be the language/message?

My water heater went out four days ago, and the contractor, Maggie's, came but left without resolving the issue. I received no note or phone call, and despite being told they would call, I have not heard back. What are my rights and options as a tenant in WA state regarding this situation?

I need to file a complaint against a dealership for damaging my dashcam and refusing to assume responsibility. The dashcam doesn't work anymore, and the manager tried multiple times to make it work but couldn't. It was working when I took the car in. I am located in New Jersey. What should I do?

I received an accusatory email from a previous employer regarding a financial issue. I need to draft a response and would like to ensure my language protects me from any potential claims. What is the best approach to handle this situation?

The Hotel Manager has been harassing us to leave and yesterday I paid the 3 days that I owed. Today they said check out and won't take the payment because they said I didn't make a reservation. Do tenants generally have to reserve the room daily because before all this they didn't. It looks like they are changing the policy day to day and nothing in Writing.

I sent money via Western Union to Africa at the request of a friend. I'm now receiving calls from people claiming to be from the FBI, DOJ, and FTC, each with different explanations and suggesting an ongoing investigation in Africa. They asked for $985 - $2500 supposedly to stop the investigation and clear my name from criminal charges. I gave them my federal ID number. The phone numbers they use don't indicate government messages when leaving messages. They also provided a legal services department phone number. What should I do?
