I bought a used boat in June from a dealer and have had nothing but problems. They had the boat for the last 6 weeks working on a problem and I got it back yesterday with the same issues. I am tired of paying for something that I have only used 4 times. Am I covered under the Lemon Law for this? I want to tell them to give me my money back. I am in Texas and have not taken any steps so far. They are coming to pick the boat up tomorrow to put it back in the shop.

I'm wondering if we actually have a case and if an action was actually illegal. Where are you located? These laws vary by state. I am located in California.

In a federal criminal case in Oregon, my son has over one hundred thousand pages of personal legal material in storage, including discovery, personal notes, and correspondence. He is now represented by a federal defender who refuses to transfer these boxes without photocopying them, and may share the copies with future psychologists or use them against him in future legal motions. Can the federal defender legally do this, and is there a way to avoid the boxes being copied?

We won a default judgment of $375,000 under 'Conversion' against two defendants living in Plano, TX. We want to domesticate our judgment in TX and petition a writ of replevin. Is this the correct procedure, and can we legally petition such a post-judgment writ?

Moved into an apartment a week ago and immediately encountered German roaches and no air conditioning. Despite multiple attempts to get the issues resolved, the air conditioning remains broken, and someone only sprayed for bugs on Thursday. What legal steps can be taken to break the lease without penalties, given the apartment's uninhabitable conditions?

Does a creditor filing a motion to change venue, due to the current venue being improper, put a stay on the rest of the bankruptcy proceedings? If so, where can I find the rule or law to cite it? A creditor filed such a motion, and shortly after, the Trustee filed a motion to dismiss for a late monthly operation report, setting a hearing. I thought the motion to change venue would essentially put a 'stay of proceedings' on the entire case until the court decided if it had jurisdiction to move forward. Does this stay apply to all proceedings, including creditor meetings and the initial debtor conference?
