I bought a used electric vehicle today, paid in full with a cashier's check. The finance department asked for a personal check to be held until the next day. I drove the car home but it didn't make it due to diminished battery capacity. Can I stop payment on the check? The salesman claimed the range was 75 miles, but the car only made it 25 miles.
