I currently work 100% remotely in Michigan, but my husband got a new job in Florida, and my employer won't let me continue working remotely there due to tax/nexus reasons. They don't have an established office in Florida, but a coworker relocated to Georgia without issues, and we don't have an office there either. I've been with the company for 4 years, with 2 promotions and several bonuses. They claim it's too much work to handle taxes for different states. What can I do?

I sued for divorce due to cruel treatment. My lawyer suggested asking for more money, but I only want my husband to apologize in front of the judge, which my lawyer said is not possible. I do not want more money, just to prove how much he has suffered me after he started consuming drugs and alcohol post-retirement. Is there a way to request the judge not to consider more money for me if I prove cruel treatment?

I am a month-to-month tenant in Los Angeles, California, after my original lease expired in June 2023. I received a good tenant discount of $644 per month under the old leasing management company. The new management is now threatening to charge me increased base rent plus reversal chargeback fees of $644 per month to move out. Can you confirm if I legally owe them these chargeback fees, and what steps should I take regarding my 30-day notice to move out and the security deposit?
