I enrolled at a gym over a year ago but didn't receive a copy of the waiver when I signed the contract. The gym also added an optional activity that required a separate contract, which I didn't sign before participating. I was injured during this optional activity. Is the original liability waiver still valid, and can the gym be held liable for my injuries under California law?

A person ran into my dog, and my dog bit them. Am I at fault? My dog was on a leash and under control, and the person who was bitten provoked or antagonized my dog. The incident involved a child who slid into my dog on the sidewalk, and the parent said no skin was broken. Now, the San Diego Humane Society wants to quarantine my dog, and I need to know if I'm at fault and if I have to comply with the quarantine.
