I failed to show up for a subpoena as a witness to a bar fight due to frequent address changes and mail issues. The subpoena was sent to my mom's house, which I only recently learned about. Will they issue a warrant for my arrest, and shouldn't they have sent it certified to ensure I received it?

I want to borrow on a home that was signed over to me last month without any money changing hands. My mother signed it over to me, and now I want to get a consolidation loan on it. However, the lenders say I have to have it in my name for at least 6 months before they can proceed with the loan, even though the home is paid for outright. Is there a federal law requiring me to be on the deed for 6 months?

We were hired to do work in New Mexico, and have not been paid for it. We worked for a company out of California, who worked for a prime out of Washington.
