I filed a restraining order (RO) against someone, and it seems that I have to prove serious physical abuse or creepy stalking to get it granted. My temporary RO was denied, and if the permanent one is also denied, we both will owe each other reasonable damages. Since she hired the same attorney for property issues, her legal fees will be higher than mine. I provided the judge with evidence of her harassment and retaliation, but I'm concerned about not getting any protection from her. Should I retract the RO since it doesn't seem I'll be getting any protection from her?

One of our employees claims to have gotten injured while setting off the sprinklers, and we received a notice from a lawyer's office claiming Worker's Comp. The report states she is injured in several places, but we have video evidence contradicting this. Should we stop her from coming to work unless she provides a doctor's notice stating she is eligible to work, despite her injuries? Should we hire a lawyer, or should we let our insurance handle everything?

A warranty company took an excessive amount of time to repair a major water leak under my home, causing damage to my house foundation. It has been about a year since the incident, and I am no longer with the company. Is it too late to seek a remedy for the damage?

I have an instinct that a group of women living next door want to blackmail me into sleeping with them. Is this harassment, and what should I do if I'm being coerced or threatened with exposure to my girlfriend?

I am an 84-year-old guardian of a 52-year-old mentally handicapped daughter. I tried filing her annual Guardianship plan with the Clerk of the Circuit Court, but it was returned specifying the need for an 'Order approving the plan'. Do I mail the Guardianship Plan somewhere to have the plan attached? Or do I just include a blank Order form and if so, where do I get the Form and where do I mail the completed package?
