I gave my son, who was living with me for 20 years, a notarized letter stating he must leave by the 28th of April. He vacated the premises but later claimed the letter wasn't legitimate. I changed the locks after he left. Now, I received a handwritten letter with a judge's stamp stating I illegally locked him out and must let him back in. I was never served any documents to appear in court, and my son is 25 years old with no name on the lease. He never paid rent. What are my legal options in New York?

My husband and I sponsored a young woman from Brazil for a green card, but she has since destroyed our property, sent us disturbing messages, and misused her job responsibilities. We want to remove our names from her green card process. What can we do?

I work in an automotive dealership that was under construction. On 4/19/18, I came into work and found the glass and front doors leading into the showroom open, causing the showroom to be 30 degrees with a cold wind blowing. Despite wearing gloves and a winter coat, I got sick on 04/21/18 and was hospitalized with pneumonia until 4/25/18, missing three weeks of work. Now, I am being charged for sick days and vacation time and have over $4000 in medical costs. I spoke with the company controller, who agreed to address the issue but has done nothing. What recourse do I have? Can I get my vacation and sick time back? Can I get my hospital bills paid? Can I be fired for this?
