I had a business Chapter 7 bankruptcy in 2012. The bankruptcy attorney filed a suit for default judgment claiming fraudulent transfer. I do not have the money to defend even though his findings are false. If this ends up a default judgment, is it considered a civil suit? Also, if I file a personal Chapter 7 bankruptcy, will I be protected from this judgment?

I am trying to obtain a loan and provided documentation on an old closed collection account. I need a letter for my mortgage company that states it is beyond the statute of limitations for collections and they can no longer legally collect on the debt. I spoke to the clerk of court and it is closed and no appeal was filed. I can upload the document as well. What type of documentation do I request from the clerk of court? What is the statute of limitations on collecting after a case was closed? Are they able to place a lien on a home I'm trying to purchase if the case was closed on 5/2/14? To determine the date of the breach of contract, if it is the 2 dates on court documents, it's from 2010. Is there a way I can locate that date, the original company is no longer in business and it was sent to a collection agency? Do you have any recommendations of a lawyer I could see to write the paper needed for the mortgage company?

I would like to have a phone call with a lawyer about order # 16563377-570, as the current lawyer I am dealing with only accepts web questions, which is taking too long. Please connect me with someone else.

Is FUFTA section 726.110(1) a statute of repose, and do you have any additional case references that the courts have used to extinguish fraudulent transfers?

I was born in San Diego, CA, and have lived in AZ for many years. I've always used my middle and last name for 35 years, but my birth certificate, Social Security, and driver's license have my first, middle, and last name. I want to remove my first name from all official documents, especially for passport purposes. How can I legally change my name to match what I've been using, and how quickly can this be done?
