He has an appeal date, but he is not going to go to court; this will be done over the mail. He needs to write a letter stating why he thinks the decision was wrong, and they will make a decision. He was appointed a public defender, but we want to know how much a private lawyer would charge for this service.

At 18, my husband was supposed to receive what was willed to him. However, while my husband was in jail, his dad obtained power of attorney to handle the property. The dad then deeded the property to himself, using a forged signature with (poa) on the side of the deed. Does this make the deed valid?
