I had an issue with a worker at my apartment complex who falsely claimed to have video evidence of me having another male in my apartment, leading to threats from my ex-husband. I filed a police report and reported the worker to the office, but they did nothing. Today, the worker berated and threatened me again. I live in California and need help, but I don't have the funds for a lawyer. What steps should I take next?

Can I represent myself pro-se remotely in a family law case in Arkansas, specifically for filing motions or responding without having to physically be there?

I believe I have a solid case against a veterinarian surgeon who killed my dog during an orthopedic surgery. The surgeon may have given my 3-pound puppy too much anesthesia, leading to her death before the surgery even started. I have caught the surgeon in several lies and have requested the medical records, which the surgeon is stalling to provide. I need legal advice on what to do next and how to proceed with this case.

In Spanish Fork, Utah, does my landlord have to notify current tenants in writing 24 hours in advance before entering the rental property, and if so, what specific law or code can I reference to inform her of this requirement?

I hired an interstate mover to pack and transport my entire house from Nebraska to Arizona. They only completed about 2/3 of the packing in 55 man hours and packed only six boxes themselves. I had to make additional trips with my SUV and rent a trailer to finish the move, incurring unexpected expenses of $6396.17. The mover provided an onsite revised binding estimate increasing the cubic feet from 1430 to 1750. I removed seven furniture items from the original list as we decided not to bring them. I initiated arbitration on May 9, 2023, and finally received the arbitration information on October 2, 2023, after multiple follow-ups and complaints. The moving company is based in Colorado but states that legal proceedings should be in Dade County, Florida. Can my issue be brought to arbitration or court, and would the jurisdiction clause preclude small claims court? If small claims court is an option, which state should I file in?

I live next to a rental property where the tenants are causing issues such as damaging property, being loud, and creating a safety concern. The property owner does nothing to address these issues, and local code enforcement has also failed to take action. What legal steps can I take to rectify this situation?
