I had an LLC with another person who filed for bankruptcy two and a half years ago. This week, the bank contacted me for payment of his business credit card debt, which was part of his bankruptcy settlement. Am I liable for that debt, especially if my signature is on the credit card application? The business was in Oregon, and I now live in New Mexico.
