I have a trial tomorrow regarding a dangerous dog and dog at large charge. My 8-month-old pitbull puppy was peacefully going to the bathroom in my fenced backyard when my neighbor's German Shepherd, which was scratching at our conjoined rotten fence, got my dog's attention. My puppy went after the fence and got under a hole at the bottom of the fence, which was on my neighbor's side and not replaced by them. My puppy then bit the German Shepherd, and both myself and my neighbor were bitten while trying to separate them. My neighbor claims my puppy bit her, but the dog is not dangerous and was not at large. What can I do?
