The dealer was supposed to place a lien on the truck at the time of purchase with Capital One as the lien-holder, but he did not. Now, I'm being told by Capital One that if I don't have a lien placed on the truck in their name, they will find me in default. My payments are on time every month. Can they do this?

We have two companies that are separate but owned by the same owners and located in the same building. One company offers paid vacation and sick time to its employees, while the other does not. Can we legally do this or do we have to offer paid time off to all employees?

I have a lawsuit due to a major back injury from a slip and fall accident. I received a request to release my medical records, including those from six months before the accident where I had a drug issue. Can they use this information against me, and what does my past have to do with my current case?

I worked for a small company selling pet gift ware and recently started my own company selling similar products. The former employer is contacting my suppliers and convincing them not to sell to me, claiming I am in competition. Is this a violation of free trade laws, and how can I build a case against this behavior?
