I have been approached by Devon Petroleum to lease land of my great Uncle for drilling. The land has been drilled on before, as evidenced by royalty checks from Carter Energy Group. The legal description of the land is 62.33 acres more or less, out of T&P R.R. Survey No. 17, Parker County, Texas. How can I find out what the land is worth in terms of natural gas to negotiate the upfront leasing amount and royalty checks?
