I have been living in an illegal apartment for 3 years, and the landlord used self-help eviction without proper notice, resulting in the loss of all my belongings. Despite having evidence of renting the apartment and being denied accommodations under the ADA, I was ordered to remove my belongings by a certain date. The case was sent to housing court but returned to district court, leaving my belongings in limbo and potentially being discarded. Who can I seek judicial review with or where do I file in a situation like this, especially since I was told I can't appeal as the plaintiff?

On 11/08/12, my neighbor received a registered letter stating that the landlord had sold the apartments to the city of Columbus, GA, and we have to leave by 12/8/12. Is this legal? Should we have more time? Should they have notified us earlier?

I had a case dismissed in Florida against Hilton Hotels regarding an accident in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. I am from Illinois and believe the dismissal is not right. What can I do since my counsel feels an appeal would not go in my favor?

On 05/29/12, I had a slip and fall while on vacation, resulting in severe arm injuries and two surgeries. The first surgery, performed at a Florida Orthopaedic Hospital, was followed by complications, including the discovery that the radial replacement was too large for my arm, leading to a second surgery. After extensive therapy, I'm progressing but have lost precious time and will not be able to get my arm to function at 100% or even close. My medical bills are costly. Do I have a reasonable case for malpractice against the first surgeon?
