I have been making extra payments towards the principal of my land loan, but the loan holder, Galen Dodds, has been using all the extra money for monthly interest payments instead. I am paid up on regular payments until 03/15/13, and I recently sent six more $600 checks to cover the next six months. I want to ensure that these checks are used fully for the principal, not just for monthly payments with interest. What are my legal options if Mr. Dodds continues to misapply my payments and does not respond to my requests to correct this?

It is not illegal for the loan holder to use extra payments for interest, unless your loan contracts...

I am a member of a membership organization, tax exempt under 501(c)(7) located in New York State. It is not complying with N.Y. NPC. "LAW § 608: NY Code - Section 608: Quorum at meeting of members". Who enforces this law, and in which court should a lawsuit be filed if the organization does not comply?

I was subpoenaed to give a deposition about my banking accounts that have my son's name on them for the last 5 years. He and his wife are getting a divorce. It will cost $5.00 for a statement or over $400.00. My banking business is no business of his wife or her lawyer. Do I have to provide these statements?

I kicked my 22-year-old daughter out of my house and want her to come during daylight hours to get the rest of her stuff. She only tries to come late at night after 11pm and takes a couple of things at a time. What can I legally do to get her things off my property during the day, and what is the time frame I have to wait before I can dispose of her things if she hasn't picked them up? I live in Georgia and there was never a rental agreement between us.

An autistic, nonverbal 16-year-old boy with unpredictable explosive tantrums, including aggression, property destruction, disregard for others, and self-harm, is causing disruptions in the school setting. The school is willing to pay for residential treatment, but the parent refuses. When can the school determine that there is no educational benefit in continuing the current educational setting and that it may be detrimental to the child's well-being?

I applied for EDD unemployment as an independent contractor on 03/17/2020 and am still receiving weekly benefits. I also worked for Dr. Janelle Holden until 03/15/2020, and she rehired me on 05/23/2020, paying me from PPP funds. I was told I could draw both benefits, but I am concerned I should have stopped drawing EDD benefits when Dr. Holden rehired me. How do I explain this to EDD and repay what I received without paying a penalty?
