I have been the Power of Attorney for my 87-year-old mother for approximately 5 years and have never executed my power. My brother, who left her residence in a mess and still has junk left behind, is demanding through a lawyer that I produce a copy of her Trust, Will, and Power of Attorney. He is accusing me of letting the property deteriorate and threatening to take me to Probate Court to have me removed. My mother has Alzheimer's, and I take care of her 24/7. What should I do?

I live in Reading, MA. Our friend owns a 2-family home abutting our property. The tenants have broken several sections of fence and created a massive junkpile abutting our and two other properties. We and our neighbors have asked since 2008 to have this cleaned up and the fence repaired, but nothing has been done. What recourse do we have?

I have been married for four years and have no paperwork regarding my legal standing in case of sudden death or abandonment. What are the legal implications in North Carolina for estate division upon death without a will, and what constitutes abandonment in a marriage?

I'm a Parkinson's patient who has been taking Mirapex since 2002. I wasn't a gambler before, but in the last few years, my gambling has gotten out of control, making my life a mess. I'm behind on bills, losing my disability and retirement, and even experiencing sex issues. I lose about $200 to $300 a month, which is a significant portion of my $2000 monthly income. I live alone and sometimes can't afford medicine or food, but I still manage to gamble. I need help. What can I do?
