I have to drive two hours to and from a meeting for my job, totaling four hours on the road. Previously, I was paid for these hours, but now I've been told I would only be paid for mileage and not the hours. What does the law say if I'm over an eight-hour workday?

I live in Wisconsin and my ex-wife and I have filed a joint petition for divorce. The paperwork has been filed and we are in our 120-day waiting period. I am the sole owner of my house, which I purchased 4 years prior to our wedding day, and we had been married for only 9 months. My ex-wife still lives in the house and refuses to move out. She no longer pays any of the bills and continues to start heated arguments and make harassing statements. For my own mental well-being and to heal emotionally, I cannot have her in my house any longer. How do I get her to leave my house? Can I legally evict her? If so, how do I do that? If I cannot evict her, what other options do I have?

My CEO is refusing to reimburse me for charges on my personal cell phone that are company related. The company cell phones were disconnected, and I was traveling, knowing I had to continue taking calls. My employees started calling me on my personal cell. What are my rights regarding reimbursement for these charges?

In the state of South Carolina, can a notary stamp their own documents? This does not sound right to me. But have heard this can be legally submitted in Berkley County, SC.

My car was repossessed last March. I called the financing company but was yelled at. We waited for a Notice of Intent in the mail but didn't receive one. In July, we received a letter of Deficiency and the financing company is demanding payment. We wrote them a letter requesting more information about the sale and repossession confirmation but they didn't reply, stating they don't reply to letters. Is this legal, and what should we do? We live in California.

I was being harassed by an NYPD officer through vulgar, sexual text messages. I filed a formal complaint with internal affairs and provided evidence, but the officer may be exonerated and has not attended the recommended alcohol counseling. The events left me distraught and affected my job performance. Do I have legal recourse, and can I sue the NYPD or the officer responsible for these texts?
