I live in Wisconsin and my ex-wife and I have filed a joint petition for divorce. The paperwork has been filed and we are in our 120-day waiting period. I am the sole owner of my house, which I purchased 4 years prior to our wedding day, and we had been married for only 9 months. My ex-wife still lives in the house and refuses to move out. She no longer pays any of the bills and continues to start heated arguments and make harassing statements. For my own mental well-being and to heal emotionally, I cannot have her in my house any longer. How do I get her to leave my house? Can I legally evict her? If so, how do I do that? If I cannot evict her, what other options do I have?

I began taking Social Security benefits as a wife at age 65 and have since worked part-time while rolling over my California State Teachers Retirement System pension into an IRA. Social Security now considers this rollover a lump-sum distribution, reducing my benefits and requiring repayment of an overpayment. I have already repaid the overpayment but still receive reduced benefits. My questions are: 1) Can I appeal the overpayment decision? 2) If I redeposit my CALSTRS contributions and start taking the pension, can Social Security reverse the overpayment charges? 3) How will this affect my California Employment Development Department unemployment benefits?

I was denied the Volunteer Emergency Workers' Survivors Pension by the state of NJ despite a Municipal Township Resolution that is a requirement. My husband died in the cab of the fire truck while at a house fire due to a medical condition. The State Pension Board cited his medical condition as the reason for denial, even though there is nothing in the Bill (Chapter 134) that asks for any medical records. What should I do next?

I filed a claim with Progressive insurance after a fender bender where I did not collect the other driver's information. I later experienced neck and back pain and want to visit a chiropractor. Progressive says they cannot approve or deny the claim without proof, such as a police report or the other driver's information. They also cannot confirm if the other driver has insurance. Should Progressive approve my claim despite the lack of proof?

My brother has a learning disorder and dropped out of college due to failing every class. The school did not provide the promised support program. Now, they are asking him to pay $8,000, which he cannot afford as he is unemployed and unable to find a job due to his disorder. What legal advice can you provide?
