I have to respond to a civil summons in Superior Court for a debt owed to a credit card company. I have set up a payment plan and have a legally signed settlement document with the attorneys representing the bank. How should I respond to the summons to inform the court that we have settled out of court and I am making payments to satisfy the debt?

Per a court agreement/order, I was to be sent my computer tower, which was worth over $2,000. The sender was aware of its value and was instructed to properly wrap and insure it. Despite my requests to be FaceTimed during the shipping process to ensure proper handling, the tower arrived shattered and broken, with no fragile label and only $100 in insurance. The sender claims no fault. Given the court order and evidence of my requests, can I take him to small claims court for the full value of the tower?

I am a Dialysis tech in NYS working under unsafe conditions with inadequate staffing and strict corporate timers. We often have to multitask unsafely to meet patient needs, leading to potential mistakes and patient dissatisfaction. I'm considering going to my union and possibly Medicare to address these issues. What steps should I take to improve our working conditions and ensure patient safety?
