I invested in two pieces of land with my father between 2005 and 2007. My father and mother sold one piece without splitting the profit as agreed, and later, in 2013, my mother, brother, and father borrowed money using my remaining land as collateral. I sold the land in 2022 for $20,000 less than its worth without knowing about the loan. My father passed away in November 2022, and in March of this year, I was served papers for breach of contract. I need to file an answer and include my mother and brother as third parties by the end of the week. How do I add them as third parties in my answer?

I just received a call from someone claiming there was a civil suit against me. How do I know if this is real or a scam?

At our last condo association meeting, I voted against a termite program that would cost me $500 initially and $300 every year. The condo president said the condo board voted to buy into the program, and I would have to pay for it as it includes all nine homeowners in our association. I do not want this service. What are my options?

My friend just died and his son is the legal person over his affairs. I believe I may be named in his papers to receive some money from his estate. The son won't talk to me. How do I find out if my friend left me some money and if so, how do I go about getting it?

My boyfriend asked me to move out of his house two weeks ago after I had been living there for a year and a half. I moved most of my personal items out the next day, but he has since stopped communicating and locked me out when I tried to retrieve the rest of my belongings. The police and magistrate informed me this is a civil matter. Do people in my circumstance have any luck getting their things back or should I just let it go?
