I have an emergency sewer backup situation in O'Fallon, MO. The company I hired got their line stuck in our main drain, left us with a partially functioning sewer system, and did not honor a verbal agreement to charge only $165 for their services. They dug up my front yard, left a mess, and did not complete the job. The city is now repairing it for $350, which I had to pay. Do I have any reason to take legal action against the company?

I purchased a home in Louisville, CO in 2012 and refinanced it in 2017, taking $43,556 in equity. My final loan was for $378,000, and the home is currently appraised at $650,000. During the loan process, I was terminated from my job but continued to work until 10/20/17, and the loan closed on 10/21/17. I did not mention my termination when signing the loan papers, thinking my final employment date was the following week. I have never missed a mortgage payment. I received a call from my loan officer stating that Fannie Mae claims I was not employed when the loan closed. I need to understand the situation and what actions I should take, including whether I need to consult a lawyer to avoid losing my house or equity.

I currently have lien satisfaction and a certificate of title in the state of Florida, but my car was recently repossessed by the former lien holder, who claims more money is owed. Is it legal for them to repossess the car if I am the owner and there is no lien on the car?
