I live in Boston, USA, and I have a pending order for 1,4 butanediol from a company that has been enjoined by the IRS from resuming business operations. I am concerned about potential DEA involvement and whether they could access the company's database to investigate individuals who placed orders. What are the best steps to handle this situation?

I was involved in a car accident in Algona, WA, where I hit another car while backing up due to a blind spot. The other driver, who was driving his ex-wife's car without a license, and I exchanged information as the police didn't show up since it happened on private property. I didn't have insurance and agreed to pay for the damages. We got estimates ranging from $3400 to $2372, and I've already paid $1500 out of $2372. Now, the ex-wife wants to get another estimate and charge me more money. Is it legal for her to do so, especially since she was not involved in the accident and the car was not hers?
