I live in Georgia and my ex also lives in Georgia. He's paying child support to me for our 6-month-old, and he's also paying for a 10-year-old in New York. Why is the New York child receiving more support than my child? Is it because of the child's age or because she lives in New York? Also, does he have to pay back child support for his child in New York? Georgia doesn't require back child support payments, and he's a resident here.

I am a senior international consultant in national transportation policy. In 2002, I was wrongfully terminated from a project in Cambodia due to fabricated complaints by an ADB Project Officer, which severely damaged my reputation and led to significant financial loss. The ADB and its officers are immune from lawsuit, and I was unable to pursue legal action in the Philippines. The project officer, now residing in Virginia, has refused any contact. I am interested in any possible recourse and would like to contact a DC-area attorney familiar with international consulting to discuss potential legal actions.
