I live in NJ. A car plowed into our fence in my front yard. The accident was on May 8. On June 14, my husband fell while chasing our dog who got out without a lead, resulting in severe injuries including two subdural hematomas, a concussion, a bruised lung, a broken nose in two places, and a broken left hand. He was hospitalized for 7 days, 5 of them in the ICU, and had to use a cane for stability. His cast was removed on July 23 and he now has 4 weeks of physical therapy. Do we have a case for personal injury due to these injuries?
