I was a victim of fraud when purchasing a 2006 Pontiac Montana from a seller on Craigslist. The seller misrepresented the car's condition, claiming recent repairs that were not true, and the car had significant mechanical issues shortly after purchase. I have no money to consult a lawyer, and the police in Iowa City said I didn't have a criminal case.
