I live in Texas and moved into a rental property with a pre-existing rat infestation. I documented the issue on the first day of our lease and have communicated with the landlord, but they have not resolved the problem. Is this issue enough to take legal action against my landlord, considering the health hazards it poses to my small children?

A person sold me a boat but didn't have it registered in his name as he claimed, and gave me a bill of sale with 'no return.' The boat is still technically owned by the original owner. Is the bill of sale void, or am I out of money? The seller also can't find the original owner he claimed to have bought the boat from. I am located in Florida.

I need to protect my mom's investment accounts after she dies to ensure they can be used for my father's medical care. I am the co-owner of the accounts and we are in Georgia. What steps should I take to safeguard these assets and where do I start?

I work for Taco Bell in California, where there is currently no manager. My brother-in-law is being forced to work 7 days a week, and another co-worker has not been getting their mandated breaks. The previous general manager quit after an investigation was launched against him for putting his hands on me aggressively. What are my rights and options for legal action against the company for these labor law violations?

I am selling a physical therapy practice in an asset sale. The buyer is insisting on a name change that would prevent us from using the name to compete in the future and allow them to use the name for goodwill. We have consulted with our attorney and insurance company, who are hesitant due to medical record retention laws in Alaska, which require records to be maintained for adult patients for 7 years past the last date treated and for pediatric patients for 2 years past when they turn 19 or 7 years, whichever is longer. Would it be advisable to concede to the name change, and how would that affect our errors and omissions coverage going forward?
