I'm a father of a 14-year-old daughter in Missouri. Her mother and I agreed to stop child support payments several years ago, with the court's approval, since I cover most of her other expenses. Now, her mother wants me to set up a savings account for our daughter and deposit $200 a month for her future needs. Is this legal?

I need guidance on setting up a paid sick time policy and understanding overtime compensation for my part-time employee in Arizona. Specifically, I need to know how to start a policy for paid sick time before July 1, and how to handle overtime if my employee, who currently works 35 hours a week, wants to increase his hours to include weekends.

I just received my second traffic ticket in the last 12 months, a violation of traffic controls IA 20 for running a red light, and I have a previous speeding violation from November 2016. I need to know if it's feasible to have someone represent me to appeal this ticket, as my job requires me to drive an average of 400-500 miles a week and I don't want to lose my license.

Does Chapter 210 of the Code, which applies to all 'buildings and structures' erected, apply to temporary metal structures such as a carport, given that it does not contain an exception for temporary structures and adopts the State Uniform Dwelling Code that applies to permanent structures?

My husband and I lease property for our dental practice and are currently behind on our rent. We received a notice from the Sheriff's Department that we have until Monday at 10:30am to remove our dental equipment and vacate the property. We haven't been offered a chance to appear in court to discuss our reasoning for past due rents, despite sending smaller payments to our leasing company. How can we file a motion to stay or get more time before they can evict us?
