My daughter and I were at the Salem NH Kmart picking up our layaway. We always went to the customer service desk to check for sale items and receive the sale price refund. This time, they told us we had to wait 24 hours or return and repurchase everything. When we asked to speak to a manager, Amy was rude and insisted on the same protocol, even though corporate said she could have checked our previous layaways. She accused us of knowing someone who gave us the sale price refund and was very arrogant. My daughter and I felt embarrassed and humiliated, and we were eventually escorted out by security. We are of Hispanic origin and felt discriminated against. We want to pursue a claim against Kmart so others don't go through the embarrassment we did. What should we do?

I was drugged and raped by a coworker, but not at work. I asked my general manager if they would transfer me to another dealership when I press legal charges against the individual, as I don't feel safe continuing to work at the same location with the person that raped me. The manager contacted his corporate supervisor, who said 'No, because it didn't happen at work.' Do I have any options other than to quit work? Would this be considered Sexual Harassment?

I have a pending legal case and I'm overwhelmed by the paperwork. I initially represented myself but now need guidance. I have a 150-day extension and must respond by 4-15-16. I've tried to find a personal injury or medical malpractice lawyer but have been unsuccessful. I have reports from the Mayo Clinic and MRI evidence showing a synovial cyst caused by wrongful physical therapy. What should I do next?

My 87-year-old grandmother, who was in a common-law marriage established before 1991, is facing issues after her spouse's death. His family claims all assets, including the home she lives in, which is not in her name. She wants to ensure her safety and financial stability, possibly by moving to a nursing home, but faces challenges with Medicaid eligibility due to her savings. She also wants to distribute her inheritance to her family now. What legal steps can she take to secure her living arrangements and distribute her assets without jeopardizing her Medicaid eligibility?
