I'm a senior social work student interning at a state agency in Idaho. I was asked by my immediate boss if I was still interested in being a foster parent for a client under 18 who is now expecting. I consulted with the client's case worker, who agreed for me to take the client home for the night. The next morning, I was asked to turn in my badge and have no further contact with clients due to the client's accusation of me drinking and getting drunk while she was in my home, which did not happen. Is the agency or the university liable for what has happened, and what rights do I have as an intern in Idaho?
