I'm building a house in Saugerties, NY, and Central Hudson needs a right of way from one of two neighbors to provide power, but neither is cooperating. Is Central Hudson obliged to provide me with electrical service, and if so, do they have to take someone to court, or do I have to take someone to court?

I bought a car in October 2018 from a dealership, and since then, I've had multiple issues with the transmission. The dealership has refused to fix the car despite documentation from a Ford Dealership confirming the issues. I want to know if I have a strong enough case to sue the dealership for breach of warranty and if it's possible to get my money back and terminate the contract, not just for repairs.

My ex moved to a small 2-bedroom house with 4 kids, and I believe her mom and brother also moved there, making it 7 people in 2 bedrooms. Is there any way to confirm the rental agreement between my ex and the landlord to determine who rented the house, either my ex or her mom?

I had a background check run on a new hire who starts in about a week. The results showed some significant discrepancies. Her resume says that she had graduated from university, but the background check shows she had attended but did not graduate. Her resume also says one of her previous job titles was 'supervisor,' the background check shows 'associate.' Should I inform the new hire of these discrepancies? If the background check info turns out to be correct, will I have any legal issues if I decide to retract her employment offer?
