I married a woman in South Carolina last year. She is 67 and on Social Security Income (SSI) making $950/month. I am 67, still working, making approximately $48,000/year, and drawing SSI at $1,600/month. I purchased a house in my name before the marriage, and she contributes nothing. How can we disqualify the judge, and is there a legal doctrine allowing recovery of legal fees if my son wins the case?
