My 97-year-old mother had a stroke on March 5, 2018, and is currently in an acute hospital in Alabama. She has Medicare and supplemental insurance. The case manager informed me that after 14 days, the doctors will decide if she goes to a skilled nursing facility, and for her to be accepted, I, as her next of kin, must provide a full asset report. I refused to do so because I don't want them to take all her hard-earned money. I need advice on what to do.

I am in Florida, and I have spoken to a Marion County deputy and the dean of the school, requesting the child be removed from the class and the child's home be looked at by DCF. However, nothing has been done, and it has occurred for a second time. It is my sister's child.
