My 97-year-old mother had a stroke on March 5, 2018, and is currently in an acute hospital in Alabama. She has Medicare and supplemental insurance. The case manager informed me that after 14 days, the doctors will decide if she goes to a skilled nursing facility, and for her to be accepted, I, as her next of kin, must provide a full asset report. I refused to do so because I don't want them to take all her hard-earned money. I need advice on what to do.

My nephew has been going to school and another student has been touching him. How can I sue the school board? I am in Florida, and I have spoken to a Marion County deputy and the dean of the school, requesting the child be removed from the class and the child's home be looked at by DCF. However, nothing has been done, and it has occurred for a second time. It is my sister's child.

Can I return a car I purchased and was sold for an amount that exceeded my budget, especially since I am almost 78 years old and live in South Carolina? I signed the papers and drove the car home on Thursday evening.

I am a disabled veteran with bio-memory loss, currently handling a pro se case for Federal ADA violations in the California Eastern District. Despite years of trying, I am struggling to find a Federal lawyer due to communication difficulties caused by my condition. I have filed the case, received pro se approval, and amended the complaint, but I am unsure about listing defendants and keeping Doe's available. I also prefer anonymity to avoid social misconceptions. How can I find a Federal lawyer and what steps should I take next?

Can I sue for defamation of character if I am repeatedly accused of stealing and have my picture taken by store employees every time I go into a store, causing emotional distress and affecting my shopping experience, despite never having stolen anything in my life?

How can I determine if there is a criminal law enforcement investigation involving me, my property, assets, family, friends, neighbors, doctors, or any other person, place, or thing that might be even remotely related to me? I’ve been told that law enforcement officers are allowed by law to lie when asked about an investigation, and I’ve heard rumors and innuendos since September 2017, with no charges filed. I’m concerned due to a problematic neighbor with a history of involving others with lies for personal gain.
