I need a lawyer letter to persuade my housekeeper to testify in court as a witness in a lawsuit filed by my tenants. The housekeeper agreed to work in my home for my tenants, but later quit due to the condition of the home. I believe her testimony is crucial for my defense. Have I established a binding verbal agreement with the housekeeper, can I compel her to be a witness, and if she refuses, can I sue her for losses incurred due to her refusal?
