My mother passed away nearly two years ago, and my sister, who was the conservator, did not handle the finances well. She believed she was still conservator after our mother's death, and her attorneys did nothing to correct this. My brothers and I hired our own attorneys, and after court issues, we finally sold the house. Now, as one of three trustees, my sister is holding up paying off the debt and reimbursements for fixing the house. The attorneys have agreed in concept to pay off the debt, reimbursements, and a partial disbursement, but she refuses to move forward without giving a reason. She was angry that the funds from the house were not deposited to her personal account and submitted an accounting to the court for her conservatorship, claiming $54,000 in reimbursements, which was approved. Now, she is claiming an additional $49,000. We want to hold back about $400,000 from the disbursement to cover that and any others. Late fees and additional legal fees are mounting as we fight this out. What steps can we take to address this situation and ensure she fulfills her duties as a trustee?

I’m being sued and need to respond to the court, but I don’t have the papers served to me. I am located in San Antonio, Texas, Bexar County, Precinct 3. I don’t know how or what to do, and I’m scared and stressed out due to other legal issues. I am preparing a demand letter to sue my landlord/property management company for keeping $1900 of my $2750 deposit. I dispute all charges as fraudulent and have proof. My questions are: Which court do I file in (property location or company location)? Should I dispute each charge individually in the demand letter and include my reasons/evidence, or keep it general?
