I need a pro bono lawyer for my Supreme Court response to my 8 1/2 year federal case. My pro se status has not been respected, and the complaint process was not fair or timely. The 9/11 destruction of my court files and the continuance of the case have raised questions of fairness and timeliness. My request not to have a de novo review in civil court was not allowed after 5 1/2 years of exhausting the administrative process, which was not fair or timely. Is there a pro bono lawyer who would take my case for a possible Supreme Court action or settlement with the federal agency?

I filed an appeal at the New York State Supreme Court Appellate Division, First Dept. I was granted an extension, but I requested another extension (enlargement) over a month ago due to medical reasons and hardship, and have not received a decision. I only have a few days left to perfect the appeal. What can I do to keep this case alive, and can I perfect an appeal on the full records that were sent to the First Dept. from the Supreme Court (lower court)?

I would like to know if my attorney has the right to file NOTICE OF RIGHT TO ARBITRATE FEE DISPUTE PURSUANT TO PART 137. I did not request it, I owed her the legal fees as per the retainer I signed, but we didn't settle the case, which is in turmoil. She doesn't want to represent me anymore, but she messed up the case too. What are my rights?

Someone has been refilling my prescription of an ED medication at a pharmacy in another state. They must have found a bottle with the script# XXXXX and have been refilling through the automated refill program. The script is not covered by insurance and therefore, they have been paying for the medication. This has been going on for at least 8 months. Is there a law against such action and what are the penalties if convicted?

Is it against the law in New York State to record another person without their knowledge, and if the union will not help, could or should I go one step further by filing a complaint at the corporate office?
