How much does it cost? I am in Ohio and the person involved in the accident is in Pennsylvania. The accident occurred when he was on his way to visit me for the first time. He was in a wreck and is now in the hospital. His son has been asking me for money, and the doctor has been harassing me, causing me stress and health issues. The dad is also asking me to pay for his car, which had no insurance. What are my obligations and how should I handle this situation?

I adopted a dog out from my rescue 5 years ago, and the contract stated I could take the dog back at any time if there was suspected neglect. I’ve been made aware of animal cruelty charges against the adopter for other dogs in her care. Does my contract still stand, and can I remove the dog if neglect is suspected based on the other reported cases, even though my rescue was dissolved a few years ago?

As a dual citizen with over 70 bank accounts, I'm in Ontario and have been filing taxes for years. My accountant's costs have increased from $3,000 to $20,000 this year. What is a reasonable cost for filing a dual citizen tax return in the US? I see ads for $279, but is there a general idea about fees? $20,000 CAD seems a bit high.
