I need help understanding the wording of a Writ that I was served with. The judgement creditor seeks to levy upon property in which the judgement debtor has an interest and apply it to the satisfaction of a judgement. The property to be levied upon is described as follows: Levy on any and all accounts of the judgement debtor, including bank accounts. Does this mean they are going after bank accounts only or are they going to try and take stuff from my home to satisfy the debt?

If an individual sues me claiming I did substandard construction work, and I can prove they are only after money, can I counter-sue for their initiating a frivolous lawsuit, requesting compensation for attorney/legal fees and damages for wasting my time if the court agrees with me and the person loses?

I filed a garnishment at a local main branch of Chase Bank, but they are requiring me to serve them in Dallas through a 3rd party. They won't put a hold on any account without me sending a service out of my city (Austin) and serving them in Dallas. Doesn't this change venue, and why do I have to serve a third party 'processing' agent? I have a final judgment against the party whose bank account I want to garnish. Could someone clarify this?

I have $39,000 in credit card debt, and I received settlement offers of $20,000 (ten thousand on each card), but I can't come up with the money. What should I do, and can I file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy?

A friend and I had a disagreement and exchanged several non-threatening texts and emails. She now says if I don't stop, she will get a restraining order. We live 400 miles apart, and I have a key to her house, which she perceives as a threat. I mailed the key back to her. Am I at any risk of legal action?
