I need to find a lawyer for my son. He is denied a public defender because he has property, but he has no access to the property due to an ex parte order against him. I have checked with lawyers in the area, but none do pro bono. What steps should I take next?

I own a design agency and use ready-made templates from sites like Shutterstock for client projects. Shutterstock claims that while you can use their work, they still own the copyright. I cannot tell clients that we are using a template. How should I handle this legally? Should I state in my terms of service that copyright is not theirs, or if it is modified, can they claim copyright?

Is Thomas Sinex with Home Care grant legit? He claims I can receive $25,000 after paying $500 in clearance and processing fees, which he says can happen within two days of payment. I am in Texas and have reached the payment stage but am skeptical since there is no formal application process. Is this a scam?

I have been in a 5-month-long dispute with my employer, involving harassment, discrimination, and retaliation. I was suspended after returning to the office for the first time in 3 weeks, despite working from home and taking care of my daughter. The suspension was due to alleged COVID policy violations, which I believe were not enforced consistently. I have already been on quarantine for two weeks due to my mother testing positive for COVID, and I have an open claim with the EEOC for discrimination. Can my employer legally require me to take another COVID test as a condition of continuing employment, and can I inform them that I believe the suspension is retaliation?

I was involved in a hit and run in Junction City, Kansas. I left the scene because I got scared and couldn't afford the hit, even though I saw myself hit the vehicle and leave a dent. The police contacted me through my Sergeant (military), and I told them everything that happened. What are the legal implications, and is there a way to handle this without it affecting my record?

I got my name changed when I was 16, and I would like to have the court record sealed so people cannot find out my old name (I am transgender and am worried this might put me in danger), but I don't have a specific, legitimate threat of danger against me. Is it likely that they would allow me to seal my records, despite lack of a serious reason, because I was a minor? (I am in MD).
