I participated in a yearly education assistance program for pharmacy students from Walgreens 4 years ago. After graduation, I was unable to secure a position with Walgreens despite interviewing and following up. Now, six months after graduation, I received a letter stating I owe Walgreens $7000 for not completing the contract. Is there any chance I can fight this, considering Walgreens did not offer me a job despite my efforts?

I had a small claims case in Lexington, KY, which was dismissed without prejudice and is appealable. I couldn't make the court date because I was hospitalized and released the day before the court date. How do I appeal to get a new court date?

How do I put a lien on a vehicle in Pennsylvania? I have a judgment for $3000 and need to know the steps to place a lien, including whether I need the VIN or license plate, how to proceed if the debtor doesn't cooperate, and how long the process typically takes.

My mother recently passed away and was living in a nursing home in Serbia. My brother had petitioned for legal guardianship and the ability to make decisions for her care with my full agreement. Since she passed, we are trying to grant him the ability to make autonomous decisions on how to divide her assets without my physically being there. He lives in Serbia and I live here. What type of 'document' do I need to have notarized to do so?

A friend paid someone to decrypt a PHP script in 2008, made changes to it, and used it on a website without making any money. Is it likely they could be charged with a criminal offense, and if so, could they face a 20-year prison sentence?

We are a small struggling church in Huntsville, Alabama that would like to erect a programmable LED electronic billboard on our property. However, we are prohibited from installing a LED sign as the local sign ordinance does not allow LED signs in areas considered residential. If we take our plea to our local unelected variance committee, they shoot down our request as they do not want to set a precedent for other churches. Could the RLUIPA (Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act of 2000), which states: 'No government shall impose or implement a land use regulation in a manner that imposes a substantial burden on the religious exercise of a person, including a religious assembly or institution...' be used to counter our denials?
