I purchased a semi-truck and trailer for $28,000 with the promise that it would pass inspection, but it didn't. The seller is refusing to take back the truck and trailer, claiming it was sold 'as is'. What are my rights, and how can I get my money back?

We hired a contractor in August and have had many problems with his work and that of his subcontractors. We terminated his services a month ago. We know we owed him but his billing does not match what he initially told us when we decided to stop construction. We have asked for an itemized statement but received nothing specific. We have already paid him $75,000 and had to call in other professionals to fix his work. What should we do?

What if a person worked for Lyft a few years ago and cannot get hired back on with them because the company keeps referring to an incident a few years ago in Florida involving a fender-bender that Lyft never gave paperwork on? And the person has no idea about the why's of refusal to be rehired?

I am going to federal court and would like someone to review my court paperwork. Does it look like a proper complaint form, and what are the substantive issues with it?

I entrusted my dog to a groomer who claimed the dog had a seizure and died, but later told a neighbor the dog got entangled in a tether and choked to death. The police don't think there's enough evidence for a criminal filing. What should I do to pursue this matter, and what are the pros and cons of civil vs. criminal proceedings?

I paid rent on time for February and March, but due to fraudulent activity in my bank account in early March, the payments were reversed and I was charged NSF and late fees. I provided the apartment complex with a police report and bank statements showing the payments cleared, but they still hold me responsible for the fees. I offered to pay April's rent while resolving the issue with the bank, but they demanded all or nothing, causing additional late fees. I've lived here for almost 3 years without issues, but now I'm facing eviction notices despite showing proof of cleared payments. What can I do to resolve this situation?
