I received a notice of termination on 3/11/2016 and moved out on 3/27/2016. The landlord terminated my tenancy because I opened the windows at night, which they had asked me not to do after living there for 6 months. I paid rent through an automatic bank account and was not behind on rent. Should I be refunded for the remaining four days of March, and can I get my security deposit back, which they deducted $200 for professional cleaning and the value of broken kitchen items, returning only $171 of the $500 deposit?

I have an existing employment agreement with my employer that automatically extends for successive one-year terms unless either party gives written notice at least 60 days prior to the end of the current term. In late January 2019, I received a letter stating that the agreement would be terminated on April 1, 2019 due to a change in the employer's business structure. Am I obligated to give any further notice, or can I simply return my key and leave when the agreement terminates on March 29, 2019?

I received a citation from a park ranger in Virginia for speeding (36 CFR 4.21 (C)). The offense description states 'SPEED 60/35'. The officer did not check box B (which indicates payment or court appearance) but marked a cross under box A (which indicates mandatory court appearance). I have several questions: 1) Am I being charged with reckless driving or just speeding? (The officer mentioned that 20 over the speed limit is reckless driving in Virginia.) 2) Do I have to attend court if I choose to pay the fee? 3) What effect could this have on my Connecticut license and criminal record? 4) What could be the likely outcome on the day of my court appearance?

My son is 15 and I found out he smoked weed through a vape a few times. We are in FL and it is illegal. He doesn’t want to snitch on the person that gave it to him. Should I find a way to make him tell me and report the person? Also, should I report my son in order for him to realize the consequences?

If a mediator certified with the courts paperwork was true and delivered, however, this was not the case, you had to follow up with the mediator to find out that they had not delivered the paperwork as they indicated to the court and it affected your timeline for action/appeal. What action can be taken?
