I received a writ of garnishment at my work for an old charged-off account. The writ was sent to my work, and I am the one who does the payroll. I need to know if this is legitimate and if I can fight it, as I am not in a position to have money taken out of my paycheck. Additionally, I do not know how to fill out the writ of garnishment form to send back to the office of the Ex-Officio Constable.
