I purchased a new vehicle in Pennsylvania and took it home on dealer plates until the loan was finalized. The dealer later informed me that the loan was reversed 20 days after approval, and they are now threatening to report the car as stolen. I received a complaint from the Arizona Board of Nursing. The complaint alleges that I closed my eyes during a shift as the Interim Director of Inpatient Unit, which happened after working from 0830-1630 and returning to work at 7:30 pm due to lack of coverage, eventually working until 0730-0800. The incident occurred after working 8 hours because the Charge Nurse failed to call staff for night shift. I sent text messages to other Managers looking for staff and had to stay until 7am. My patients were not harmed, and my medication administration, nurses notes, and vital signs were timely. The hospital Chief Nurse Officer plans to write a character letter for me. How should I write a response to the Board of Nursing to address these allegations?
