I recently found out I'm pregnant, and the child's father is married. Both the father and his wife have threatened me, with the father threatening to shoot me in the stomach and the wife threatening to press charges or sue me if I don't get an abortion. I'm in Michigan and haven't taken any legal steps yet. What should I do?

I was arrested without a warrant and indicted the same day the crime happened. There's no physical evidence linking me to the crime, and I was convicted based on the testimony of three witnesses whose stories don't add up. I am African American, and everyone involved in my case, including my lawyer, prosecutor, judge, bailiff, jury, and the victim, was Caucasian. My trial lasted one day, and I am in Texas. What steps can I take to challenge my conviction, and how do I obtain my trial transcript?

We have learned of a structural issue with our building and need the tenants to move out so we can repair the problem. The property is in Missouri. All tenants were up for a new lease in April, but we did not sign any leases because we were looking into the problem. What are the terms of the lease, and what should we do about the tenants who are now on a month-to-month basis?
