I want to divorce my wife but how do I prevent her from getting her hands on my property and pension? She had nothing when I met her and is likely to end up with everything that I worked for prior to getting married. She has no idea that I want a divorce.

They took 30% from my retirement account via QDRO. Isn't the law 20%? I was in arrears for child support, I am divorced since 2006, and the retirement accounts are mine by stipulation in 2006. I owed her $49,000. Her lawyers took $10,000 and then added 30% on top for a total of $77,000. My lawyer made an error in agreeing. Can I recover this extra 10%?

All other forms have my correct and full name on it. If the docket # XXXXX XXXXX in my name is XXXXX XXXXX?

I believe I meet all five criteria for Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) approval and have documentation from my Neurologist and physical therapy evaluation. Should I apply for SSDI immediately or wait two months, and what are my chances of getting approved on the first attempt?

I had a car repossessed several years ago, and now I received a judgment in the mail. After the case was settled, I was changing jobs and supporting myself. I called the finance company and asked if they could rewrite my loan since my vehicle was half paid for. I was a little short that month, so I offered $160 instead of the full $250 payment, which they accepted. I told them I would pay the rest when my income tax check came in. However, a tow company took my car after the finance company accepted the partial payment. Did the creditor commit a breach of peace?
